When the David Goo Variety Band came to its natural conclusion, David heard of Dunbar's theory and concluded that an audience of exactly 150 could be pretty sweet. Smaller numbers, intimate settings, personal rather than alienating. The 150 Friends Club was born. In January 2013, Goo called up some of his favourite musicians around London. Immediately, it felt like a good thing – whatever it was.
